Broadway Kids Begin Knitting Project for Stage Veterans and Homeless (Playbill) Young performers from Broadway will give back to Broadway veterans and the New York homeless community this winter season as Broadway Kids Care launches "The Knitting Project."
AARP to host knitting group, holiday party (Edison Sentinel) The next general meeting of the Edison AARP chapter No. 3446 will be Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Edison Job Corps, 500 Plainfield Ave. The High Steppers group will be performing. Members are asked to bring canned or packaged food and toiletries for the Middlesex Food Bank. Members must be a member of the national AARP and a resident of New Jersey.
