Vanity Fair's Jackson knitting plant to cease operations by end of 2009 (Clark County Democrat)
The 70-year-old Vanity Fair Knitting plant in downtown Jackson will cease operations by the end of 2009, Fruit of the Loom, Inc. announced last week. The closing will eliminate 90 jobs and end a relationship between Vanity Fair and Jackson that stretches back to 1939 when the plant opened.
